Product

DSP  AD5430-12(timing detection board)

Features

This is a timing detection board for the AD5430 series. This board mainly detects engine rotation, drives models, and produces pulses to convey timing to other boards. The user can drive an AD5431 model by using the timing signal of this board as the master clock signal.

Common specifications

  • This single timing detection board corresponds to one engine. (It corresponds to the timing signal of one crankshaft.)
  • This can be a master clock.
-- Can output event signals that kicks the model through the synchronous line of the bus.It issues events for each angle of crankshaft rotation as a vector from the origin.
-- The board itself can issue a “time clock.”
  • Outputs the synchronous bus clock “Gpsync2.” This outputs a “timing pulse output signal” to the synchronous bus clock“Gpsync2.”
  • Outputs the synchronous bus clock “Gpsync3.” This outputs a “measurement gate pulse output signal” to the synchronous bus clock “Gpsync2.”

Missing tooth pulse train input signal 1point
Chasing tooth pulse train input signal or Z pulse input signal 1point
Cylinder detection pulse input signal or TDC position pulse train input signal 1point One cycle of the pulse train for the crankshaft rotation of 720 degrees
Phase difference pulse input 4points
Encoder pulse train input signal Input form Schmidt trigger input
Filters, etc. Low pass filter: Butterworth 500 kHz, 1st degree
Input pulse 250 kHz maximum
Missing tooth, chasing tooth, cylinder detection pulse input Input form Schmidt trigger input
Filters, etc. Low pass filter: Butterworth 50 kHz, 1st degree
Input pulse 25 kHz maximum

Pulse output specifications

Output channel Function pulse output signal
Outputs pulses corresponding to IGN signal (ignition signal) and INJ signal
(fuel injection signal).
16points
Timing pulse output signal
Outputs crankshaft angle synchronization timing pulse.
1points
Measurement gate pulse output signal
Outputs the trigger gate so that AD5430-01 can be used for analog input.
1points
Output form Open collector output
Pulse responsivity 1µsec (pulse rise/fall characteristics)
Output responsivity changes according to the state of the cable, the circuit, and the output current after the output connector. The 1 µsec condition applies at the output current of 20 mA or more and when it is measured around the output connector.
