My name is Masaru Shibuya and I have just recently joined A&D Company Ltd. It is my pleasure to send a personal message to all of A&D’s business partners worldwide.
First of all, I would like to give you some information about my experiences up until now. I was working for JVC (Victor Company of Japan; the well-known audiovisual and professional electronic equipment manufacturer) for 31 years and my main area of business at that time was Sales & Marketing. For the first 10 years, I worked only in the Japanese domestic market but I was delighted to be offered the opportunity to experience business on an international level and remained in this area for over 20 years with JVC.

During this time working in the overseas market, I was given the opportunity to spend time working in both Canada and Singapore. It was a great experience for both my family and myself and I learned a great deal from my colleagues in both countries. My family also really enjoyed life overseas and the highlights for them were making foreign friends and trying new and unusual food. However, adjusting to daily life abroad had its difficulties but these experiences brought us closer together as a family.
My wife and I have 3 children, 1 son and 2 daughters, and all 3 of them are in their twenties. Nowadays in Japan, children can be embarrassed spending time with their parents in public but I feel that our experiences abroad really united us and I am very fortunate to be able to currently spend a lot of time with them. I am also very interested in learning about customs and daily life in your countries.
My main priority is to see A&D products sold in as many countries as possible worldwide and secondly, I am committed to promoting good relations with our agents all over the world. As I have only recently joined A&D, I am still learning a lot about our business but I am determined to do my best to contribute to the company. Therefore, I would like to ask for your cooperation and advice. I am looking forward to hearing from you and any valuable input you may have.
Thank you very much and I am looking forward to meeting you all very soon.
Kind regards,
Masaru Shibuya |
